Step behind the scenes of Thailand’s world famous gastronomy with a richly interactive experience that is designed to immerse you in the colourful local culture and traditional heritage of Thai cuisine. Enjoy a captivating cooking class as you learn to master the unique flavour balance of Thai cuisine and prepare a selection of authentic dishes under the expert tuition of our Thai Master Chef. Savour your creations for lunch and leave with wonderful memories and impressive new skills to entertain your family and friends back home.

The experience begins with an indigenous activity, a guided tour of a local market, followed by a tour of the resort’s herb and vegetable garden, highlighting a focus on using the freshest ingredients. Class commences with a theory session about Thai cuisine’s cultural significance and health benefits, indigenous ingredients and cooking equipment, as well as convenient replacements to use at home. Choosing from a menu of authentic recipes, students learn to cook their favourite dishes in a step by step cooking class. Students can savour their creations in a chef hosted meal and leave with new skills to impress family and friends back home, as well as a Spice Spoons shopping bag containing a cooking apron, chopping board ,Spice Spoons recipe book and a certificate of culinary achievement from the resort.

Mekong- The winner of Best Asian restaurant 2016 in Dubai is the resort's signature restaurant. Named after South East Asia's legendary river, Mekong offers a journey infused with rich and flavourful discovery, where you can indulge in authentic eastern recipes at rickshaw-style seating and oriental tables.

AED 750 per person, inclusive of soft drinks or a glass of house beverage with lunch. Runs from Saturday to Thursday. Classes are limited to a minimum of 2 guests, and up to a maximum of 6 guests. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance
