Vida Downtown Dubai kicks off the New Year with a fully revamped kitchen! The charming downtown boutique hotel welcomes celebrity Chef James Knight-Pacheco as their new culinary master. As of January 2017, Chef Knight-Pacheco is bringing his talents and groundbreaking cooking style to give a delicious new taste to both Vida Downtown Dubai and the popular Vida Food Truck.
The British Chef has over a decade of experience, beginning his successful culinary career in London where not only was he renowned for his cooking skills, but also featured in many live cooking shows including BBC’s ‘Out of the Frying Pan’ and ‘The Restaurant’ with Michelin Star Chef Raymond Blanc. His captivating cooking and mouth-watering creations have left his audience craving for another course. He then established himself in the Middle East, working in one of the most prestigious restaurants in Oman before joining Emaar Hospitality Group in August 2015.
His creativity shines through his one of a kind style of cooking, making contemporary cuisine that is both progressive and inventive. The new lunch menu is a perfect example of just that as he has curated an array of modern dishes with a quirky, gourmet flair, which stays true to the hotels creative roots. His unconventional and delicious dishes range from the Sweet Soy and Hot Tuna Salads, to the Oh Brie sandwich and Good Avo flatbread – along with the launch of a brand-new business lunch special at the popular 3in1 Restaurant.
