Chic, neat and sleek with an intimate flair, this was the first expression we got once we entered Nineteen, the fine dining Italian located at The Address Montgomerie.
We were greeted by the smiling staff and the Italian Chef, who took us through the menu, showcasing his creative skills. We had a nice table by the window, enjoying the views from the outdoor terrace, overlooking the golf course with the lakes and the fountains, making it the highlight of the pleasant dining experience.
The menu was inspired by the Italian coasts, bringing the taste of the Mediterranean with a substantial selection of home-style Italian dishes based on seafood. We started with Antipasti, sharing Marinated Salmon Burrata and Caspante, scallops with toasted hazelnuts in a zesty red pepper sauce. Both were good choice that kept us eager for next. The service was so warm and attentive, that we got our Secondo in no time. The next course comprised Fileto Di Manzo, which was succulent and tender served with Fois Gras and asparagus. The Gamberoni Alla Riglia, grilled red prawns was uniquely presented with quinoa salad. The Dolce were simple yet impressive. What would beat a traditional creamy Tiramisu and sticky Chocolate Torta with homemade vanilla gelato, being a revelation.
Overall the food was excellent and every course was crafted to perfection with fresh ingredients. Great ambiance that we were the last to leave the place! A lovely leisurely dinner experience that we would recommend.
